Chavetejo is a dynamic young INCI licensed estate agency (AMI number 7856) based in Tomar in the Ribatejo region of Central Portugal, run by British and Portuguese partners.

Claudia grew up in and around Tomar and has been working within the real estate business in Central Portugal for over ten years. She speaks English fluently and has an extensive knowledge of the local property market.

Before leaving the United Kingdom Nicky ran her own PR & Marketing company representing companies including multi-national car manufacturers, regional airports and motor racing championships. Previous to this she contributed to several national publications. Nicky can speak Portuguese, however is still learning.

Before moving to Central Portugal four years ago, Derek worked within the customer care industry for over 13 years. Derek has been involved in property for many years, renovating and selling property in the United Kingdom and has a passion for period and traditional properties.

In his spare time Derek enjoys exploring and photographing the region as well as restoring property here in Central Portugal.

Margarida has lived in and around Tomar all her life and can speak English as well as Portuguese. She is married with two children and in her spare time she enjoys nothing more than designing and making her own range of t-shirts and jackets.

Jasmijn was born in Holland and moved with her mother to Portugal when she was 16. She returned to Holland to study for her degree, but has made her Portugal her home.

She has worked within the estate agency industry for the past two years. Jasmijn is fluent in Portuguese and English and can also get by in French. When she is not photographing property Jasmijn loves nothing better than going off road in her Landrover.

Marta was born and brought up in Tomar, however she lived in Malawi for eight years before returning to Portugal with her husband and young son.

Marta has worked in estate agency industry for the past year. She speaks English and a Malawi dialect fluently and understands French and Spanish. Outside of work she enjoys socialising with her friends and spending time with her family.

Vanessa is half French and half Portuguese. She spent her childhood in France, however returned to Portugal to study at University. Vanessa has an aptitude for languages and in addition to French and Portuguese Vanessa is also fluent in English and Spanish and speaks a smattering of Italian, German and Japanese.

Away from work she enjoys reading, writing, travelling, dancing and most of all laughing with her friends.

Angelika was born in Germany but spent her childhood in Turkey, Peru and America. She returned to Germany for nine years then travelled around Latin America and Europe. She settled down in Portugal nearly 25 years ago restoring properties and organising canoeing trips.

She speaks English and Portuguese fluently and enjoys relaxing by the lake as well discovering hidden property gems.

Sarah moved to Portugal in March 2007 from Dublin, Ireland, where she had worked for an innovative and respected firm of mortgage brokers for 12 years. She was well known in the Irish press and media as a spokesperson for the mortgage industry. Prior to moving to Ireland Sarah lived in London where she also worked for a well known mortgage brokerage for eight years.

Outside of work, Sarah spends more hours than she would like walking her two dogs and is also an avid Formula 1 motor racing fan.
